This painting is inspired by the abundant wildlife present at the Avon Gorge. Wildflowers such as Bristol Onion, Scabiosa and Speedwell flourish in this area. The Holly Blue, Green Veined White and Green Hairstreak butterflies are important visitors who can be found alongside Red Admiral and Painted Lady butterflies. Each species is monitored by the Friends of the Downs and Avon Gorge. This print evokes a feeling of a sunny Summer day. This view is from Durdham Downs looking up the Avon Gorge towards the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The original painting was created in gouache (plastic free). All prints are produced on FSC approved papers.

This Bristol Bears print is inspired by the history of Bristol. The Blue Bear is decorated with patterns and imagery inspired by my visit to Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. I have studied Bristol's colbalt blue glass and the hand decorated tin-glazed earthenware from the 17th century to produce this design.

The Temperate House is the world's largest Victorian glasshouse and the iconic landmark of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew.

This is a high resolution Giclee print of a mixed-media study of Clifton Cathedral, which was created with wax and ink. I have always been inspired by the shapes and textures of this building. It's Brutalist styled architecture is both strong and calming. I feel a tangible juxtaposition of emotion when experiencing the exterior and then the interior. There is something very evocative about the colours and forms in the long Autumn shadows of Clifton. I was also inspired by the work of John Piper.

This print has been developed from one of my paintings using Illustrator. This process has enabled me to redraw and refine the clean lines of the sculptural pier. This format allows me to edit the colours and customise the design without losing any quality. This design can be scaled up to the size of the actual pier and still be sharp and beautifully in focus. Foxgloves and Daisies wrap around pattern. I was concentrating on happiness when this was painted. I didn't use a computer at all, just the garden and some vintage flower books. This is a visual summer hug, reminiscent of an English garden. The brush marks show the movement of the leaves as they grow. Every part is individual - no copy and paste for a Fine Artist!
